Martha Ressler gives new purpose to found objects by stitching them into a quilt collage, usually telling a story of nature, of a town, or of a person. She incorporates anything from photographs to books and sheet music to unfinished embroidery. Martha is also a part of galleries and quilt groups like Hamburg Art and Craft Gallery, Hamburg, PA, The Arts Barn in Schuylkill Haven, Art Plus Gallery in West Reading, Cloth in Common the international group of art quilters, and a Juried Artist Member of Studio Art Quilt Associates.
