The show featuring the original works of art produced by members of the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh to support the Fiberart International opens Saturday April 6 at Panza Gallery in Pittsburgh (6-9 PM).
My contribution is the letter “R.” I am inspired by the beauty in aging city spaces. The letter is rusting and breaking down, as light shimmers around and through it. The piece incorporates found objects I picked up while walking 10,000 steps a day through my own industrial neighborhood. We will sell wrapping paper made from all of the letters, twice through the alphabet!
