I was thrilled to receive an award at the 84th Annual International Juried Exhibition of the Art Association of Harrisburg. I was able to attend the opening reception Saturday night to receive it in person. The piece is called Reconfiguring Drakes Drilling.
This piece will be in a show called Women’s Work at Fe Gallery, 4102 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. The opening is Friday, June 1 from 7-9 PM. The shows closes June 23. As I walk to work at McConway & Torley every day, I cross these railroad tracks as my entry to the plant.

After much thought, I decided to enter “Not So Empty Lot” into Art All Night this year. This deserves to be known world wide, but just in case you haven’t heard of the event, dedicated volunteers find an abandoned factory site (so far pretty easy) in Lawrenceville, clean it up, and hang thousands of pieces
